Very cool, now we just need to see if it works in the 8's as well.

I think its just a matter of finding the MDP/MAP translation table in the various Evo 8 ROMs.

Can you post the subroutine names for this code and I'll see if i can find this for my JDM Evo7. From some of the snipits jcsbanks has posted, it looks like some of the routines may share the same names between ROMs. To be honest I'm not to hopeful of being able to do this ( realload anyone? ) but I'd like to give it a try.

Very nice to see that this is working

But like some here I also have an EVO 8.

MB: how would you go about looking for the subroutine names ? could that be done in a rom read from an ECU ?

Bez only gave me the address, table sizes, and byte length. Some pics of disassembly are shown over on Aktivematrix though. Maybe you saw those already?

Thanks
P.S. Easier idea to put map sensor to unused ecu ADC input
ECU unused PIN ;MUT REQUEST
74 ; 0x88
77 ;0x87
One of above pins has internall ~5v pullup -the other doesn't.
0x3C is the request for the rear o2 sensor. PROVEN.
5v signal is OK.
Linear calibration 0V-0 ;5v around 255;

Several patches using analog inputs are already ready
Map controlled ecu patch under test (working).
Knock light patch working on my evo7 ra ecu.
Analog maps interpolating patch working.

Oh in case nobody caught Bez's map patch comment, this is equivalent to SPEED DENSITY, I've kept pretty quiet about it because I wanted to see how well it ended up working.

This EcuFlash forum is starting to remind me of the old school national DSM list where everyone was helping each other find and figure out stuff.

It's a good time to be a EVO owner.

It does not work on EDM EVO IX (88840016).
