Silly idea to log boost in EvoScan??
Okay, I had this idea but I'm not sure how well it would work. If we were to take a 3-bar MAP sensor (JDM/UK EVO, GM, whatever) and feed it into a sensor input that EvoScan is currently capable of monitoring, then we could possibly log actual boost. Of course, you'd need to find a sensor that won't cause problems if you unplug it.
So, what about the rear O2? EvoScan can report the voltage. Disconnecting it doesn't seem to do anything other than setting the SES light. All you'd have to do is to create a new transfer function/equation in EvoScan.
Of course, if the input resistance isn't well-matched to the sensor used, you're resolution might be poor, but it could be worth trying, right?
Okay, so who's up for trying it?

02 sensors read in millivolts and it usually between 0-1.5v
a 3bar map reads 0-5 volts and you would also have to build a definition in the rom to associate a certain voltage with boost.

There has been some talk of using the JDM MAP sensor instead of the USDM one, but the one I was hoping to get never showed up.. the JDM map sensor is 3 bar, but I'm not sure what would have to be done for it to read correctly.

There are a bunch of them, I can probably only remember half of them, some of them can only be used in special cases. Egr temp, rear o2, manifold differential pressure sensor(mdp/map sensor). Intake temp, barometric pressure, and front 02 can be used in special cases. FP solenoid, and boost control solenoid are the only two outputs that come to mind, but there are probably more.
I'm pretty sure you guys will have most of this stuff available to you in time.

No part number yet. I forgot to ask.
