adjusting "boost cut"...

Im getting a nice power cut in the upper rpm's in 4th gear when its cold out. My tuner looked at my logs and said we should adjust my boost cut values. Now is this all done at the "boost limit" box? And what do the values (245,235 ,etc) relate to? As in how far can i raise these numbers?

thank you

It relates to the load calculation.. 319 should effectively disable it.

Ok, looks like my boost limit wasnt changed, not sure if the tuner thought it needed to be. Anyways, I changed it to 319 across the board, and adjusted my launch control. I guess when it cools down tonight ill find out if it did the trick.

You can also adjust the boost cut timer (or whatever it is) and set it maxed and after those two changes boost cut is gone with a stock turbo (all that I can comment on).

Actually on my car I set both.. Since I'm running a GT35r, and do hit loads over 300, I was concerned that there was the possibility that 319 didn't actually disable it, so I used the delay timer set as high as it would go also..

when i tune cars i usually start with a fresh map, and since we dyno in 3rd and don't run into boost cut issues, the boost cut is what i typically set last when we get off the dyno. unfortunately, that day i had a huge stomach ache and could barely stand up straight. sorry for the inconvenience.
