Next version of Evoscan?

I'm just wondering if anybody knows when the next version of evoscan will be out cause its suppose to have these features as stated on the website.

Other Upcoming Features
14) Awesome graphing support - Utilising Time Slider bars and Dual Compare Time Slider bars. (lock time bars together - move at same time)
15) Diagnostic Trouble Code support. - DataLog Active/Stored Fault Codes - Retrieve EFI Fault Codes - Clear EFI Fault Codes
16) Alerting on data value minimum/maximum/rate of change Alerts by Background colour, and/or by custom alarm sound (wav file).
17) OnRoad Dyno Graphing and Logging: acceleration / torque / hp

The sliding time bars would be cool, with comparison. CAuse that real time playback graph kind of sucks.

Also that onroad dyno graphing would be awesome.

This is a simple one but I would like the settings to be saved. Each time you open it up its reset.

Hey, yeah I'm actively programming these features now.. I'll give you an update on what new features will be available shortly. I'm mostly focusing on the ABS & ETACS & SRS & AYC ecus at the moment.

evo4mad: could you possibly expand the Innovative support to allow logging of the 3bar MAP sensor (LM-1 + LMA-3)?

I'd happily be your guinea pig

You can save the settings. There was a post on here from Evo4Mad a week or so back that explained how. You have to create a directory, then put a blank .xml file in there. I'm not logged in on my laptop right now, so I can't give you more detail than that. Search for his posts (or mine).

I'd love to see this feature. Is it even possible?

It's not possible in EvoScan yet, but you can do it in Data Log Lab (www.dataloglab.com).

Okay, here's what you do to get the program to save your settings: create a directory called "SavedSettings" within your EvoScan directory. Then put a .xml file in there and rename it to "EvoScan.xml". Then, open that file (right click, select 'Open With', then 'Wordpad') and delete all the contents. Resave it. Run EvoScan. You'll get an error. Close EvoScan and re-run it. Now everything will work fine and you'll be able to save all the settings.

Data Log Lab is by far the best visualization tool for this sort of stuff.. Its a big set of shoes to fill with built-in features, but It will be nice to see how he decides to do it..

Stupid question:

Can I use my existing Tactrix cable to log with this program?

Data Log Lab uses the files created by Mitsulogger or Evoscan...

Rob, thanks for the hint on saving the settings. Worked great! Mine didn't error, but does require you to hit the "Start Logging" button for the settings to be saved.

"allow logging of the 3bar MAP sensor (LM-1 + LMA-3)?"

yeah I was wondering how many people would use this feature if I added it, it'll be next to no work to add this feature, I'll send you a version to try out. I just don't want to upset the current working LM-1 logging.

I have an installed and working LM-1 w/ LMA-2 (rpm converter) using a GM 3bar map sensor. Let me know if you need me to beta test anything.

getting aux inputs like thermocouplers and map sensors will make EVOScan an awesome tool, not like it isn't already.
