new to ecuflash logs to look at
I am new to the whole concept of ecuflash and am trying to gain an understanding of my logs prior to messing around with anything. I did 2 logs using malibujacks mitsulogger, and have tried to open in dataloglabs, but am unsure how to get the data to show up.
anyway, here are the 2 logs. one is a 1-3 gear pull at wot, starting at a low speed, and the second one is a wot 3rd gear pull from 2k to over 7k.
any thoughts or comments are appreciated.
waiting for a wideband/egt from ttp engineering so I can really have an understanding of what is going on, and for jack to get mitsulogger 2.0 with zeitronics support running

I looked at your 3rd gear log in DLL and you seem to be running 7-8* of timing @ peak boost/ torque. You also have the onset of 2 counts of knock. 7-8* of timing in this area is just too much in my book. 3-4* is more acceptable on 93 octane gas and less than that on 91 octane gas.
What are your mods, btw?

Here is the definition file that you will need to upload to DLL

Thats quite alot of timing for a IX.
That would be aggressive for a VIII which appear to run a bit more timing.
Was the 3rd gear pull done uphill? If not then understand that there's easily 40 to 50 WHP available with tuning alone

nope, flat road. I think that there is still a ton of hp left, as it was not road tuned. still want to know how to view logs. can someone post one from dll on here so I can see what the settings are I should be checking?
I tried with timing and knock checked, but didn't change anything else...
thanks for the help...

I don't have a lot of the car options to pick from under data item, nor do I have anything under the column of preset graphs, and mine at the top says (utec csv data log)...
thoughts?
god I hate programs without manuals

That's why, you need to use the correct def file and select Universal Data format.
Put the evoscan or mitsulogger def file here:
C:\Program Files\DataLogLab\Universal Data Log Formats\
Change the app to Universal Data log format by doing this:
"if you ever want to be given the option of choosing your ECU type again, simply delete the DataLogLab.ini file within the Program sub-directory of the installation directory (if you’ve installed to the default location this will be C:\Program Files\DataLogLab\Program\DataLogLab.ini). PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS WILL RESULT IN THE LOSS OF ALL CHANGES YOU HAVE MADE TO THE APPLICATIONS CONFIGURATION SINCE FIRST RUNNING IT."
