Hey bro. Yeah any help would be greatly appreciated. The only thing I haven't tried is a different computer.

On ecuflash, what's correct way to scaling the Timing map on the LOAD section.

Can you just change the numbers from 240 to 230, then proceed to increase them in 10's.

For example. 230 240 250 260 270 280 290 300.....

Any input would be appreciated.

You just change the top section but have to eliminate one of your lower load cells. I think like 70/80..a section that has them sequenced real close.

Hey I found something interesting. If you pull the fuse for the power locks, EVOscan doesn't work......wierd right? Maybe there's a blown fuse somewhere............

Problem here with Evoscan 2.5 Map tracer and Tephra's 5.10 mods.

Prior to using the 5.10 mods, the map tracer function in Evoscan 2.5 was working fine. I was logging "Load Calculated"

I have now switched over to the 5.10 mods and log "1 byte Load", but now Evoscan Map tracer does not work. I can get into the map tracer function fine, load my xml and rom, but when i clcik on ingition or knock sum, the values are dislayed in the top most table.

Any idea what is causing the problem?

Thx.

My ROM ID is 96530006

ok I assume evoscan is looking for whatever the old load variable was called.

So what you can do is just rename the 1byte load to whatever the other one is called... Probably both the display name and the ID...

OK. For anyone who's interested I figured it out. Since it's been over a year since I last drove my car, I forgot that I modified the baudrate so it will read at 62500. It works fine now.

Thats what I do with the RPM and 2byteRPM. The POWER section uses the standard "RPM" logging for its formula so I just edit it to read the 2byte values for more accurate results.

Mine has not been modified, as its value is still 15625.

this might sound like a stupid question but... whats the difference between the write to ecu and test write to ecu in ecuflash?

would test write to ecu be the one i should choose while tuning the car and then write to ecu when i am done?
