This is the Error I get, "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" . How do I stop it from doing this?

 

how do you change the flash to be able to flash to another car... Is it the Id number???

 

I have also been getting this very frequently when using the AEM uego. It only happens on some of the cars that i have tuned. It is very annoying becuase it totally stops the log. The uego still seems to work through Hyperterm and mitsulogger so i am not sure why EVOscan is having an issue. this is on evoscan 2.5

I got it to work , I restart the computer, turn off car, plug in USB's, computer turns on, turn car on, start evoscan. Then log , works now.

 

yeah mine didn't work even after reboot. I am using straight serial no USB adapter.

 

Yeah that's all I did. Did you make sure you have the right com port selected in your Device Manager?

 

I'm currently using version 1.35 of Ecuflash. I have a bunch of the additional patches besides Tephra's 5.1 such as lean spool disable, O2 sensor bypass, P0300 etc. I was wondering if I have to start with a fresh map and re-apply all the patches in a new rom again in order for 1.4 to recognize everything correctly also because I see there are multiple Evo9base files now. My apologies if this was already covered.

 

You should copy over your modded files.

I just recently upgraded to the latest ecuflash version 1.41 and now I'm not able to view my logs in evoscan using the maptracer. Whenever I got to upload the xml/hex file it says that the xml file is not compatible. Anyone else having trouble viewing the maptracer using v1.41 and evoscan v2.5?

Want to know if the ECUFlash definitions for the EDM 08+ Evo's and Sti's are out yet?

I just tried getting the roms and did save them, but seems to be of no use. Any updates. Do let me know. I can mail the roms to you guru's out there!
