How much longer until evoscan .98
Well, if you have any Innovate products you could LogWorks as a free stop gap. Use the free plug-in I wrote to log from your tactrix into Logworks (along with any Innovate gear generated channels).
Right click on the RPM trace and select "Smooth". Set a couple of ticks of smoothing.
Highlight the WOT portion of your 2nd or 3rd gear pull.
Select tools/calculation, and paste in this formula:
?Vehicle weight in lb = m[3000]
?Tire diameter in inch = td[25]
?Gear ratio of run = gear_ratio[1.21]
?Final drive ratio = finaldrive[4.53]
?i Name of RPM channel = rpm[RPM]
?Frontal area of vehicle (sqft) = Ar[30]
?Drag coefficient = Cd[0.45]
?Current atmospheric pressure (inHg) = atmp[29.92]
?Current temperature (degF) = temp[94]
#SAE correction factor
SAEcf = (1.18 * ((29.235/atmp) * sqrt((temp + 459.67)/536.67)) )- 0.18
#air density
density = 0.0412236 * atmp/ (temp + 459.67)
# tire radius in ft
R = td/24
# acceleration in g
a = slope(RPM) * pi * td * 4.3153245 * 10^-5/(gear_ratio * finaldrive)
# speed in ft/sec
v = (RPM * R * pi ) / ( gear_ratio * finaldrive * 30)
# aerodynamic draq in lbforce
Fa = 0.5 * density * (v^2) * Ar * Cd
# Accelerating force (lbforce)
F = m * a + Fa
# engine torque
trq = F * R * SAEcf/ (gear_ratio * finaldrive)
MC(torque;lbft;0) = trq
MC(power;hp;0) = trq * rpm/5252
You'll be prompted for some information (just like you would in any other street dyno application), and then two new traces will be added to your log.
The portion of the torque and power traces inside your selected section are what you would be interested in.
This is power from RPM with SAE correction. I've put power from speed and accell in another post in this thread.
Good Luck,

I've been programming EvoScan all day today, out one day soon.
I'm still spending about 4 hours a day searching for a source for the connectors.

You guys are harsh..
Programming isn't always about a few hours of coding.. There's coding, testing, fixing, recoding. Give him time, he'll get there. Sometimes the hardest part of coding is getting the motivation to sit down and do it. Happens to me all the time.

nah im not trying to be harsh and expect it to be out now.
its just that, (im not holding this against him or anything) i asked him if he could give me a ball park on when .98 would be out this was way before chrismas.
he told me, ill probably get it out by chrismas or a little after, as a sort of a chrismas present for you guys.
and its kind of almost february of next year.
but now im not trying to push him, im sure hes super busy with everything else in his life, but it would be nice to have .98

MJ, that site doesn't have the connectors. Anybody else know where to locate them from?

The male counterpart is M(6244-1121) Unfortunately it was only produced for Mitsubishi Motors and doesn't show up in their catalogs, but you can contact them directly to see if they have samples or if they can make a production run.
www.sws.co.jp
Not only did I find the part number for that, but I also found the part numbers for the Boost solenoid connectors (male and female), MAF connector (Male and female), Coil connectors (male and female) among many others.
Thanks in advance!
EDIT
Are the part #'s:
6188-0624 (female)
6189-0264 (male)
??
