How much longer until evoscan .98
Who cares
I'm still enjoying the v0.97 right now.
With LC1 and a giant widget to monitor knock if it happens, logging is enjoyable piece of cake - about seventy 3rd gear WOT logs this past week! Better change oil again, lol.
You would have to see how I was datalogging 2 months ago however to appreciate what I'm saying. (Imagine my wife's seven year old PC in the back of an evo (25lb monitor) with 8 gauge cable to supply enough inverted amps for AC)

In the "Vista compatibility" thread on here, Codgi posted a Microsoft link to what is supposed to be a .NET 1.1 package that I think was listed for Vista. Not sure if it was strictly an X64 build or not, but it looks like you can download the .NET 1.1 stuff you need and it appears to be Vista compatible.

installing 1.1 on top of 3.0 (built in Vista) sounds dangerous and might bust other applications. I'd hate to blow up my laptop, so I'll just stick with Mitsulogger for the time being. It's getting the job done
It shouldn't actually cause any interference as it operates somewhat independent (the DLL's get their own directory structure) But I am sympathetic to your concerns, as its the same reason I refuse to run .NET 1.1 on my workstations
Not that I can argue your choice for an alternative..
But many of you guys did pay for Evoscan, and I was just giving you folks the option of continuing to leverage an investment until it can be updated.

I dont understand why everyome is being so pushy about the new version. Im waiting to, and paid just like everyone else. However the bottom line is it is a bargain, and I dont anyone only purchased because he was promising newer versions on a regular basis, and at set times. Im not a software guy, but I do know what its like to have a primary job, a Personal life, and a side gig. Its rough to prioritize the sidework..
I think thats part of the problem with selling software, once someone pays something for it, there is a sense that they are entitled to frequent updates. I'm very sympathetic to the situation on both sides. This is why I don't sell the tools I create.
