Select the entire folder and then extract to your desired destination....It is a .rar file, not zip....So download .rar and then you should be fine.

That said, I still cannot get v1.5a to work, nor has anyone confirmed they are using it with their ZT2....I would have thought TTP would have been all over this as he is a major seller of the ZT2 and was excited to get Mitsulogger to work with the ZT2....

Yeah thats actually the problem, I haven't gotten any response from anyone who is using it without a problem.. In reality I understand that the only people you generally hear from when you develop sofware is the people who have problems. Only there are 3 people who have reported problems and 400+ downloads..

Anyway, the issue might be related to a calculation I am doing, this is why I released the alpha as I had no way of verifying if the auxiliary inputs were working properly.. I was able to test EGT, AFR, MAP, and USER1, but not RPM.. I suspect RPM is where its dying. But until I get some confirmation that a user is using this with a ZT2 with no problems, and has all of the sensors hooked up, I'm not sure if its a problem with these 3 users system configs, or the app..

Since I'm taking the standpoint that its probably the App, I'm going through and testing what I can, and finding little glitches here and there, but nothing that would cause the problem that is being described. I have asked that the users who are having the problem, are they hooked up to an RPM Signal, and if they are, can they disconnect it momentarily and test again to see if it solves the problem.. (also the cylinder multiplier is set to default of 2, thats because the evo has 2 coils)

I probably should get or make a square wave generator so I can test this stuff a bit better on the bench.

I've been meaning to try it... I can't get motivated with a leaky SMC kit and below freezing weather :\

I feel for you.. In this cold weather I don't generally work outside if possible.. I have a heated garage, but unfortunately its a gas powered heater and I ran out of gas for it (I think the line was leaking at the tank outside the house) and haven't had the extra money to have it refilled.

If the input can do RPM from a coil, etc., I have a little utility I could send you. You pick strokes, waste spark, etc., and RPM and it generates the appropriate pulses on your sound card output.

Its just a zip file.. Once its extracted you just have to run the program from the location its extracted to..

It seems to me like your just going back and opening the same file you've downloaded instead of going to the location where you extracted the files.

I don't mean for this to come across as short or terse.. This is just one of those concepts that most users eventually have to get familiar with when they deal with files online.

If it is giving you an error, then the file itself may be corrupt.. You will have to download another copy. I had a corrupt zip file stuck in a cache for the longest time that every time I downloaded the file, it would be corrupt and not open..

does the file end in ZIP or RAR.. I would try downloading winrar from www.rarsoft.com and see if that opens it instead, winrar opens zip and rar files so if its not corrupt, it will work.

Like I said, I didn't mean to be short or whatnot.. Just that Its hard to tell what issue a person is having until you get the info out of them.

From this first quote, you can see that it seems to imply that your opening the file, but you keep going back to the file to open it again, than to extract those files somewhere. My guess is either your opening it into a temporary location or limbo and its being deleted..

If your using the built-in zip utility in Windows XP, its easy to confuse the zip file with a folder.. If you right click on the zip file, it should say extract contents and then bring up a wizard.

I installed my zt-2 lastnight and just got my tactrix cable a few minutes ago. I'll give some feed back regardless if it works well or not. I sold my LM-1 w/RPM converter to get the zt-2 just for mitsulogger.
