Mitsulogger v1.5 Alpha featuring Wideband Support!!

http://www.aktivematrix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=150

Yes, you heard it.. Its available for download, I need some feedback on whether everything works right, so I'm not releasing it officially until a few of you guys get some good logs and test everything out.

Wideband support for the TurboXS Tuner, Tuner Pro, UTEC, and Zeitronix ZT2

UTEC/Tuner support is auto-detected when you select one of the widebands, you have a choice of logging directly from the tuner, or using the UTEC interface, and all data available is logged to mitsulogger. Additionally the UTEC or Tuner specific logs are saved in their raw form, which means their also Data Log Lab compatible.

Not sure what else I can say about it.. It is what it is.. Everything should be pretty self explanatory, just remember to avoid closing the wideband window when its there, the logger will still run, but you won't log your wideband data.

I will be releasing the UTEC/Tuner logger as a separate stand-alone application, the intent is to integrate the same wideband support for owners of the UTEC and third party widebands. In the future, this won't be necessary as Unilogger lets you choose all of the components you want to log.

The zeitronix logger can also be released as a standalone app if there is desire for it.

I need a few people to verify everything works with their wideband, and the logs dont look goofy..

i couldn't get the new mitsulogger.txt to load up in the data log lab. it says "Error loading data log definition - invalid column attribute"
there was something wrong in the AFR txt in the mitsulogger.txt file, it is REALLY odd.
now i fixed it and got it to load. attached is the mitsuloggerG.txt which works, and the other is mitsuloggerB.txt which will not work. both files are the exact same.
mitsuloggerB.txt was the original one.
Attached Files
File Type: txt
mitsuloggerG.txt (4.1 KB, 44 views)
File Type: txt
mitsuloggerB.txt (4.1 KB, 11 views)

I'm actually not surprised, Data Log Lab is REALLY picky about embedded spaces that end up in files.. I'll have to do a quick test and update the file.. Its the one thing I forgot to check when I was packing up the files.

In reality, there are probably about 5-13 new columns that can be added to the definition depending on which wideband combo you use, but I figured AFR was the only really critical one to get in there so I quickly added it.

Okay fixed the mitsulogger.txt file in the zip so nobody downloading it now will have a problem. It was an erroneous space after [Column] in the file.. DLL is picky about erroneous spaces.

call me computer illiterate, but I've downloaded .net framework version 2.0, but when I try to download mitsulogger 1.5, I get an error message saying I must first download .net 2.0. ????? did I get the wrong version or something?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

You have to be more specific.. Did you install the .NET framework after you downloaded it?

Most windows XP machines will have already downloaded (or given you the option to) the require .NET stuff.. But if you download it and install it, its possible you need to run windows update to get some updates for it. I run the most current releases of everything, but every laptop I've tested it on worked fine.

installed it first..... it was a beta version, that's the problem.

My laptop isn't used for internet access, just the car, and it's running an older version of windows (2000, ouch!). It's not very up to date. I should have dug a little deeper before jumping on evom asking for help. Sorry!

Really nice work MJ - I'm so glad to see support for the Zeitronix in there. I'm officially converted from Evoscan to Mitsulogger!
