EvoScan v0.98 Now with Power & Torque Graphing - Map Tracing completed also!
Psssst... don't tell anyone, but if you have the link you previously received as a paying customer of EvoScan, the link will now allow you to download version .99.
Not sure if it's officially released yet though, so I would probably consider it beta until then.

How to correct Evoscan reading?
Please advise why some of these number read from the ECU do not change much during a run or dyno session?
Also how can this be fixed to read correctly?
I am moe intersted in the EGRT and the O2 sensors so that i can compare with my wideband sensor.....
AccelEnrich
FuelTrim_Low
CoolantTemp
FuelTrim_Mid
FuelTrim_High
O2FeedbackTrim
O2Sensor
O2Sensor2
EGRTemp

let me try to get these right...
AccelEnrich- used only as a momentary adder for fueling as you are moving the gas pedal, to prevent a lean tip in moment, like an acclerator pump on a carb
FuelTrim_Low/mid/high-only used in closed loop operation(around town driving) and the computer ignores these while at WOT
CoolantTemp-once warm, a properly function cooling system is supposed to keep this a very stable number. If the temperatures climbs more than a few degrees on a dyno/street pull, youve got issues that need addressing
O2FeedbackTrim-again, during closed loop only, this is what the comp uses to reference fuel trims off of
O2Sensor- should be the precat sensor, if fueling is correct this wont change a lot either, indicating steady fuel trims, just not giving accurate reading for tuning off of
O2Sensor2-I think this is the post cat o2, which is used just for emmisions purpose
I think I got all of this right, but someone let me know if I screwed up.

Could someone possibly PM me the link? I've been a registered user since the original release. The newest link I can find in my old emails was for 0.95, but it appears that he changed the path somewhere between .95 and .97. I have .97, but can't seem to find the link anymore.
Hamish?
Hamish?
The link is currently down. Probably due to traffic, or whatever.
Believe me, if you were missing out on something everyone else was getting (v0.98, v0.99) you would have already seen 2- 3 new threads on topics like "Cant get my vo0.99 to work, help" or "how do I get the whp graph to work?"

You need to find the old email you originally got from limitless.
Find the link that say's "bla, bla, bla,.payment recieved" (it will be the same)
Then use your same serial # to download your new v0.99!

I posted the link and said that if you changed the .97 or .98 to .99 you could DL it (what i had done to DL it & get the link).
I did this because everyone has been waiting and wanting.
Regardless EVO4MAD only had the link up so beta testers could DL it, not everyone. So he took down the link for the time being.
Real Time Map Tracing
OK, right off the bat I'll admit i'm a newb at tuning, but I'm wondering if anyone has had any success with the alpha version of the "real time map tracer" that's built in to EvoScan 0.99?
My understanding is this will provide a really time view of, for example, what load cell your engine is operating in on your fuel map as it happens. This will allow you to tune that specific load cell. Is this correct? Has anyone had any luck with this?
So far I've managed to feed it the correct .xml file, and the correct ROM (bin/hex) file, but I'm not sure where to go from there. What is the "binary file" drop down for? How do I select which map I want to see?
I know, it's still alpha... but I'm so d*** impatient!
