Yeah. .99 is vaporware. Just like .98 has been for six months.

Every time he needs a few bucks he posts and "update" thread to get more people to buy the software.

It doesn't matter what it costs. It is a matter of keeping your word and not lieing to your customers.

I'd rather pay for a subscription and get a a supported consistently improved product.

I bought a product with promised features that may never be implemented.

I am sure he is busy fixing bugs, so he is a little ambitious with his rollout schedule.. thats not unusual with software companies...

I am sure your guys comments aren't exactly inspiring him to get it finished...

So what, colby promised many updates for Evo5/6 support too, and he also has other commitments, give us a break.. geez.

I am just rolling straight into Evoscan v0.99. I have spent 600hrs coding 5000 lines of code for the next EvoScan version. If you want to help test the new version, then message me on msn like I told you to.

Quite frankly, I am very pleased with what you're doing, and I know I speak for many in saying so. Considering all the hard work you're putting into this, I feel we're getting a bargain. Take your time and do it right. It will be worth the wait.

Yes, don't let the few impatient people here discourage you. A few of these people's posts remind me why I'm getting out of customer service/sales!

I agree, $25 for this level of software is like freeware. You can not expect this effort to move at the speed of a major software development (not like they are all that fast or on time either) for the price you are getting. With attitudes like this I am surprised that the effort still continues. The money being made does not even come close to making up for the man hours spent ($25 for a lifetime of updates).

Maybe you should have invested in Engrish lessons.

If you think $25 is any real amount of money for a logger with that many features then you are an idiot. We are a very lucky community with so many technical people commited to improving the fuctionality of the Evo.

I get impatient like everyone else but seriously, lay off. If you've ever worked a job with a development department you would know that dates are more like target goals, not actuals.

You guys think this is bad, you ought to work where I do and experience what I have to put up with and pretend what is acceptible - if I expose the truth I would be fired.

You just had to put up with two or three complaints (made by those with the same type of mentality of my work environment)

That guy who send ton email is my supervisor, has no degree or mind and was placed there by congress

Everyone please just be patient ....he will release it when he believes its finished and razzing him until he does won't make it come any sooner or any better. I personally am happy hes taking his time to hopefully do it right .

I think its good that now some "average" people are seeing that these things in software take a little time. Now multiply the complexity of the code by 32092309239032023903223, the customers by 1million+ and now you will start to understand why at the full pro level software takes so long to be produced

Evo4mad: I've told you before that if you want some kinda test plan for it written I can help you out...just need to find some competent testers to test with it (don't personally have the time unfortunately ).

hey did you say you were going to skip .98 and go straight on to .99?

Are you still going to try to get the hp and torque on road dyno graph to work?

Also how do i get your e-mail to add you on msn.
