Can you use LogWorks without an Innovate product? I've only got the OpenPort cable.

No, the MTS chain sets the LogWorks sample rate, which the plug-ins match. It doesn't have to be one of our widebands, but you need at least one MTS module.

When I was testing the support for LC1/LM1 in EvoScan, EvoScan logged faster than the MTS chain, so what I did for EvoScan was just logged the last known value from the MTS chain to the EvoScan log file.

TKPIXMR, this question has been asked many many times and the answer is always the same. "If you purchased EvoScan you get lifetime upgrades to the new version. He will send you an email, WHEN it is ready for download."

According to Evo4Mad web site, the new version should be released on 3/20 which is tomorrow (my times in Cal). I'm looking toward for it.

Actually, that doesn't make any sense to me at all. MTS runs at a constant rate (just over 12 Hz by default). This is regardless of how many channels are present and can be confirmed with a scope. All MTS devices oversample and average at this rate, so instrument responsiveness should not be an issue (a single miss fire will still show up as a clean spike with an LC-1 or LM-1 at this rate).

On the other hand, the timestamps in all the EvoScan logs I've looked at show a fluctuating sample rate with steps of .1S or larger. Ignoring aliasing, one would expect you to collect 1 or 2 MTS samples every time.

I know you were accidentally truncating packets when you first came to us for help, and you don't look at the packet function codes, so perhaps it is another parsing error of some kind (ex. dropping every other packet)?

what a good idea, I just implemented it for v0.98, done..

I have 10 beta testers testing and providing feedback on a more complete v0.98, so just a few more days, a lot of v0.99 features are slowly sneaking into v0.98 too at this rate, like 2byte logging support for those that have figured out how to mod their ROMs already. For those that want easy patching the MODs will need to wait for v0.99, and for realtime tuning.

Any other good ideas out there?

As far as I know .98 is still being worked out. Also he stated that he has been away on business. Give him a break, I am sure people here probably have .97 somewhere saved. As long as you have your key you purchased it should work fine. I am not at home, so I cannot send it to you, but I will gladly send you .97 as long as you have your key.

I think people got excited because he updated limitless.co.nz a few days ago stating .98 would be released yesterday...
