Agree it is the least worrying, but a boosted standard JDM ignition map (I think the factory maps are agressive at mid loads) can give an audible ping in the cabin, that does worry me and I think should be sorted.

C6 Not quite flat, just a bit saggy

but I never see more than a 4 knock sum count. So do you think its worth adding fuel to these cells

nothing to worry about here.

its the mitsu knock sensor, it doesnt work properly in that split moment of 100 to 0 throttle, i asked my tuner about that

Did you not read the really long post by jcsbanks saying that you can hear the knock when in the car and with det cans? There certainly are areas where the knock detection routing doesn't work as well as it might.

The knock sensor does work properly, it is a piezo microphone, it responds far quicker than any mechanical event. The signal processing is also fast enough because you can log a knock sum during lift off det events.

It is not phantom and it is real. Phantom knock is defined as low load knock during normal driving. For instance you'll be cruising at 3000rpm's on the highway and all of a sudden you'll get 25 counts of knock.

I set up my rom so that when I put my clutch in the ignition timing defaults to 10 degrees. This has greatly reduced the high rpm knock. With racegas I don't hardly ever get it.

If you smack the rev limiter you'll get it. If your shift is sloppy you'll get it etc....

EDIT:

You'll also get knock if you sharply stab the gas at nearly any RPM. Basically any quick transition has the ability to cause knock.

I am not a tuner, but for what it's worth...IF it is due to decel shift in the engine compartment...try getting a torque dampener for your motor.... most eventually add that anyways....good luck.
