My CEL was turned off by the ECU today, so I can confirm that the patch for the 96940011 works. I will go ahead and make a separate thread about the 96940011 patch since this thread is already very long and since 96940011 isn't one of the V5 options at this time and doesn't look like it will ever be due to the space restriction.

OK, I patched my 96940011 ROM and flashed it yesterday. I left my CEL on to see if this patch worked, since the ECU will turn off the CEL itself after three cycles of not finding the conditions which caused the CEL.

So what you are saying is that if Tephra has a v5 patch for your ROM id use that and set it to disable the rear o2 and you won't need any resistors? I want to remove my rear o2 sensor completely and put my wideband in its place....
Just wanted to clarify before I flashed my car with the v5 update...

Also for the guys placing their WB in the rear O2 location...pay EXTRA attention to EVERY gasket and seal located between the engine and the WB sensor. One teensy weensy exhaust leak will throw your WB readings off. Its always best to have a bung welded onto the downpipe for the rear O2 to minimize the possibility of leaks.
