Help!!!!!!!!!!
I guess it's to be expected now days with computers everywhere and everyone thinking "you can't break it, it's a computer, you can just reconfigure it".
Where's did that slight amount of fear go that would have made you go..."oh, I'm going to **** with the brain of my car...I wonder if I should do a little research for any of the dangers"

Well .. since he screwed up the ECU with a ROM that was flashed in .. why not just post the ROM that was flashed in?? He should have that .. and he should be able to change the values on that rom image ..
Did he flash the correct image though? ECUflash doesn't stop you...
You're in luck perhaps - 1860A118 is the same as MalibuJack shows on his bench harness and he said it was 94170008. You can download a standard version off Aktivematrix (need to register). Then read up on the ECU periphery bytes, disable the immobiliser bit and try flashing that to your ECU.

Dude,
These folks are not being smartasses. The problem is you f'd up your ecu cause you did not take the time to understand what you were doing. There is a tutorial in this forum (yes I know it is not a stiky and it should be but I'm not a moderator so I can't make it a stiky) that explains the whole process, what to do and what not to do and why.
Pull out your stock ecu (the physical unit located behind and to the left of the glove box) and write down ALL the numbers on the factory label. the ecu id should start with MN IIRC.
You need to get a stock rom that matches your ECU ID then try to set the I.C to FFFF as mentioned earlier. Flash that in and see if that helps.
If you can get the ECU ID (if you not sure, pull yours out and take a picture of any and every label on the case and post them up) and you ask nicely you may be able to get someone to disable the I.C. using the ecu periphery method.
