hey guys well i have been waiting for my cables and when i got them today i loaded atune into my car and now it doesnt want to start.. and then i downloaded a stock evo8 rom and it still doesnt want to start...i have no clue wuts up....

 

Got anymore info? What cables? Need more meat to chew on.

It sounds like you got a tune from a friend and there immobilizer code is still in it. Is this the case?

 

Have u checked immobilizer code?
It cranks?

 

immobilizer code.. don't suppose you looked at what yours was before you flashed over it

 

yes it cranks..the immobilizer is at 3301

 

Did you load your stock map for a back-up first?

If so, you should be able to figure out your ECU ID. It's possible you loaded a map for the wrong ECU ID onto your car.

This is different from the immobilizer code. It specifies where each map exists in the memory. If you loaded an image where these locations were wrong, it may not even start.

 

no i didnt load my stock map...i downloaded at stock evo8 tune and wanted to start from square 1 and yet no start

 

I hope u saved your original ROM?
What u should do just flash back original and see what happens.

u probably not going to be able to start your car, cause when u reflashed stock ROM u kind of installed new ECU so u have to deal with Immobilizer problem now.
I had this problem before. What i did i just disabled it.
