Do I need to buy this USB to serial cable if I'm going with the LC-1? I'll be using it with a laptop and Evoscan.

Also, how does it attach to the exhaust? I have a downpipe with cutout (dumps straight out from a bypass valve off the downpipe), so I don't think I can use the stock o2 port off of the catback. Do I need to drill a hole in my downpipe?

Do you have a serial port? If not then yes. The bung for the o2 sensor goes 18" from your turbo. So yes on your DP

What does the bung look like? Is it a clip that I can just attach to the open part of the cutout valve? or do I really have to drill a hole in the downpipe (I'm trying to avoid a permanent install if possible). Does the link below come with a bung?

Hmm if your trying to avoid a perminat install you might want to look at the innovate lm1.
The bung looks like a little ring but thick. You need to tap your dp and then weld the bung in there. The bung should come with the kit. It also comes with a plug for the bung. So you could take it out but you soder the wires in. I got mine from innovate. TouringBubble got his from there he can tell you but it should come with everything.

Look at the LM1 I think thats what you want
