Ok, so I get to use new vacuum lines because with 3-port I don't need the T between WG and compressor, right?

Mmm... I got some issues with 3 port solenoid...

Car is a 2006 IX EDM, TBE, fuel pump and regulator, air filter. Turbo is stock.
With stock solenoid I was working with #60 pill and no restrictor on solenoid side, but it was not able to keep more than 16-17 psi over 6800 rpm. Peak pressure was 25 psi holding 22.5 until 6500 rpm.
Target with 3 port solenoid is to keep 20 psi over 6500 rpm and to get a better load regulation.

I installed as specified wirh resistor and new pressure/vacuum lines to intake, WG and compressor. No restrictors.

Boost correction table is flat 0.

I started with 50% WGDC and I got very high spikes (close to 30psi) holding 24 psi until 6500. Bad for me.

I lowered WGDC until 10% but I get very high psi values even without pulling 100% TPS (4000 rpm, 70% TPS, 10% WGDC -> 24 psi). I did not tried a 100% TPS pull to avoid problems at the moment.

Where am I wrong? Anyone got same problems?

Sure you have the lines plumbed right? Sounds like you've got the wastegate and intake lines swapped.

Damn, you might be right... I checked twice before connect, but I'm afraid that could be the reason...

Thanks, I will check tomorrow (now is evening here)...

The solenoid has one input and 2 outputs - one for WGA and one for venting air. If you used the venting port then lower WGDC number will give you higher boost. Swap the WGA line into the other port.

I'm actually going to try to cannibalize an OEM solenoid when I install this. $40 is worth it to me to not have to cut into my wiring harness. First I have to get the JDM MAP and boost logging working, but I should be doing this sometime in January. I'll post pictures.

I posted on post 207 that you can get the properly sized tabs that will let you hook it up without cutting the wiring.

I solved, I swapped the two solenoid outputs.

Thanks to all, now it works as it should

Check post 210, an option for plugging the 3port into the stock wiring. I am using it and it works perfect. There are a couple of guys making molds also.

At last I got round to fitting a GM 3 port boost controller to my VII. This was my first run out so didn't push the revs to far, but I'm pretty pleased the WGDC I flashed in weren't to far out. These figures should provied a good starting point for anyone who wants to try this setup. As you can see there is a fair bit of headroom left in the WGD and I'm hitting a fairly steady 1.5 Bar.

The 3 port is mounted in the same place as the stock solenoid with the pigtail spliced in. No restrictor pills used.

Bring the BDEL in tighter and it won't be adding that 6% additional WDGC at 4600. I would recommend getting the WGDC tighter with with your target boost, it will make boost more constant.
