Mitsulogger with multipe Innovate Devices?

Hello,

I just installed Mitsulogger V1.6 beta 3. I think it is capable of logging multiple channels from multiple Innovate MTS devices... but I am struggling to get it working.

The devices I have in the Innovate MTS chain are an LC-1, and an SSI-4 (a unit which accepts 4 configurable inputs, to log stuff like external pressure sensors, etc. I plan on using it to log the output of my boost and oil pressure sensors initially.)

I would like to log the LC-1 output with Mitsulogger, but my .csv data files I have saved only show "SSI_4_Volt" which I think is the number 4 voltage input of the SSI-4, and apparently the "last" output in the MTS chain. There seems to be no trace of the other SSI-4 channels, or LC-1 output anywhere!

I know the LC-1 is working because I can log data with Logworks, and I can tell Mitsulogger works because I can log the standard Mitsubishi ECU (MUT?) data.

The "Innovate Logger" window in Mitsulogger just displays "SSI_4".

Thoughts? Do I need to configure something else so that Mitsulogger will see all the channels available in the MTS chain?

Thanks!!

I don't believe MJ has updated his Mitsulogger yet. It is a known problem when you log more than one innovate input. he just needs a some spare time to make it happen. for what its worth, it appears evoscan has the same dilemma.

Its definitely a known bug, kinda bonehead typo in my code I caught after it was released. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to release a new version that addresses that bug and a few other fixes. Hopefully now that I've started my new job, when things settle down a bit, I can release the version I had been sitting on. I actually have a bug in the zeitronix logger that I wanted to address before I released it, which is what held up the release before I ran short on time.

Thanks for the responses. I'll take the SSI-4 out of the loop for now. The effort is appreciated MJ, I will patiently await the next release.

in the mean time, why not use logworks with the openport plugin? you can log all the mutII stuff in logworks with the openport plugin. If yoe have LW 2.04 installed you already have the open port plugin in the other devices folder.

Are you talking about this directory?
C:\Program Files\LogWorks2

Darsh , this is the only subdirectory in there:
C:\Program Files\LogWorks2\LM1 Log Files

I even tried re-installing Logworks as I thought maybe it was an option at install time but still no dice.

Oh wait, I just looked through all the files in the Logworks2 directory and found "OP13Dev.exe" is this it? I guess that I am supposed to run this exe, then run Logworks..?

Click the "start" button, go to "Programs" or "All Programs" (depending on your windows version) the "LogWorks 2" then "Other Devices" Then "Openport 1.3" or something of that nature.

Just so you guys know, I'm hoping to post a bugfixed version of mitsulogger this weekend, it addresses some of the issues we had come across that I had fixed over the past few months. Not much in the way of new features though.

One specific issue was the multiple innovate devices, it was a feature that always worked, but just before the previous release, I had made a minor change that accidentally broke it.

Thanks MJ glad to see you getting back after the job change.
