Was this in reference to the logger or to modding your ROMs MUT table? No problems using the modded rom as far as I know.

If your running a JDM FQ360 I think JB has posted the locations, it's not to hard to find using disassembly ( only after JB walked me through it though! )

Not the logger.

I was told the ROM will trash my MAP. How long ago is this?

You only need to change the values in the request Ids 00 and 01 in the MUT table. None of the other maps are touched. Who told you it would trash your maps? Did they give a reason?

No reason not to run 2 byte load Oracle, it won't mess anything up. It wouldn't have been any use on your original IX turbo setup with the scaling at 300 with your HKS induction that lowers your load values. As long as you're getting predictable ignition and knock sums I wouldn't bother, but I suppose it is all more data to gaze at if you are curious, and might reassure you that you're ignition isn't falling off the edge of the world and put you at risk of rediscovering America

You can change the size and shape of the tables if you move them to some spare real estate in ROM, it is quite easy to find spare space, that is where I've put new routines and maps that don't get overwritten. However, like 2 byte load most of the time it is probably fairly pointless. I think I could make a nice map with 3x3 tables since they are interpolated.

John for IX, there is a possibility of screwing up the ROM .. or readings .. especially when the ID 00 and 01s are over written with the 2byte load ..

you'll get a funny 2byte load and ignition timing at a constant -20 ..

Well .. that's what I thought .. but nope .. it was correct .. you're unable to read .. and I'm thinking it could be the codes .. so now I got to spend time delving into MUT routines

the ROM id is 80930002 you guys don't have this version I believe
