immobilizer code is 0001
immobilizer code is 0001
My car has previously been flashed by Dynoflash. It starts and runs fine. While I was studying my fuel maps for tuning, I looked at my immobilizer code out of curiosity. My code is 0001. Seems to me like the code ought to be a little more than that. Any thoughts? (and no, I am not mistaking this for the init code).
What is the code on the keys? There should be a tag with the two set of keys that you received (if bought new) from the dealer where the immo number was written.
If they match, then .... well your Immo is 0001. Let me know!
This is back of my head and anyone can correct me if I am wrong!

Sounds to me like someone changed the init code to 0001 to unlock the ecu and did the immobilizer by mistake and then changed the init code afterwards after they realized it .
Thats why I wrote my immo. code down and saved it in my desk drawer.
hmm? idk

if your car is running with your immobilizer code set to 0001, then that is your code. What i'd do to confirm is start your car, make sure it runs. Turn it off, pull your map again, and then check the code. If its 0001 then thats what it is, if its something else, then you accidentally changed your code while looking at the tables or something.
My car runs. That was never an issue. I guess my code is 0001. Does anyone know if the key code that comes on the little metal tag when you buy your car has anything to do with the immobilizer code?
the 5 digit key code would presumably need to be converted to a 4 digit hexadecimal value. What's your key code and I can convert it for you.... Then we can compare it to the Immobilizer code.
