can't read ECU, need help

I've used ecuflash for a month and got some good experience until my last map. I'm not sure what mistake I did cuz I can't connect to the ECU anymore, the log said "(FFFF) unknown code" which I can't read and write to the ECU. Someone knows how to fix it?please help

Thx

PS 1. my car is Evo 9, JDM
2. evoscan is still working.
3. My program n cable can work with other evo.

Uninstall and reinstall ECUFLASH.

Reflash your base stock map back on it.

I had the same thing happen. Usually you can only hear one click when you start to read the ecu. But I kept getting 2 clicks then it throws the unknown code. I tried running the unlocker in the back ground but still the same issue. Then after the 4th or 5th try it just worked. ????

Hi

Evo Ix s are known to have a problem with low battery voltage causing a failure to connect. Also if the Tactrix cable has some loose pins this will cause the same problem.

That looks like quite a high battery voltage. Did you measure that with the engine running?

Did the last map you flashed come from a tuner or another source? Have you tried the ECU unlocker program?

Did you flash the whole ROM ( which is a bad idea ) or just the maps?

ECU unlocker at www.aktivematrix.com
