any body with the definition file for an Evo 7 2001.

External case doesn't help much.. Need to know the rom's internal ID which tells what version of the code is there. I just posted a definition in another thread for an Evo7 ecu, but you need to get the rom version itself as it can vary.

i will try to read the rom and see the internal ID.

i have few definition file for the Evo 7, but i want to make sure i have the correct tested definition file if one of the guys have it.

one i wasted so many weeks trying to removed the boost cut of my tune and discovered that i am using a bad def file?

i found out that Internal I.D for this computer is 98640014. which the XML file is available.

i hope this may help other Evo 7 drivers.

Humm, that looks familiar..... some of the knock filter stuff might be off so treat that area as experimental.

it is the only correct one i know for Evo 7 98640014.

Did any of you have trouble trying to flash this ECU in particular with EcuFlash.

Im using an OpenPort 2.0 cable and it does not seem to want to play ball.

 

no had no problems.my friend has this rom in his e7. read and flashed fine with a 1.3u cable.
