Waddup I searched the forums and I can't find anything on how too adjust my E brake. Does anyone have any idea how too adjust my E brake on my 05 evo MR ?

takeout the middle counsol and there should be a bolt right on the ebrake and tighten the bolt

A pull of 45 pounds on the brake lever producing 5 to 7 clicks is normal. To adjust remove the rear console and turn the nut on the end of the cable. Going tighter than 5 clicks may cause the brakes to drag.

Wow that's easy. Lol

Well I have new pads on it and when I pull it up it goes all the way too the top until you can't pull no more. Also if im on a steep incline it will slowly roll with the brake fully up.

Seems odd. When I replaced the rear pads it made no change in the e-brake.

I've not done this but you might try it. The service manual says to back off the nut to the end of the cable then pump the brake pedal. This is supposed to adjust the e-brake shoes.

Hmmm that sounds logical. I might try that too I believe that's what might need too be done. Thanks again guys for the input.

Here's the info from the manual . . . Note #3 below

PARKING BRAKE LEVER STROKE CHECK AND
ADJUSTMENT M1361000900276

1. Pull the parking brake lever with a force of approximately
200 N (45 pounds) and count the number of notches.
Standard value: 5 − 7 notches
2. If the parking brake lever stroke is not the standard value,
adjust as described below.
(1) Remove the rear floor console assembly. (Refer to
GROUP 52A, Rear Floor Console P.52A-8.)
(2) Loosen the adjusting nut to move it to the cable rod end
so that the cable will be free.
(3) Depress the brake pedal repeatedly until the lever has no
change in its stroke.
NOTE: Depressing the brake pedal repeatedly adjusts
shoe clearance correctly.

CAUTION
If the parking brake lever stroke is below the standard
value and the braking is too firm, the rear brakes may drag.
(4) Turn the adjusting nut to adjust the parking brake lever
stroke to the standard value. After adjusting, check that
there is no space between the adjusting nut and the
parking brake lever. Check that the adjusting nut is
secured with the nut holder.
(5) After adjusting the parking brake lever stroke, jack up the
rear end of the vehicle, and then release the parking
brake and turn the rear wheels to check that the rear
brakes are not dragging.
