I sent him the pic from one of our evos showing him excatly where to look.

Open glove box. Get eye level to opening for the glove box. Look right under the far right A/C vent (but inside the glove box opening) and on 1 of the dash braces (plastic, not metal) there is a sticker. It looks too tall too fit on the brace. Also has a large bar code on it.

RNRjames, look up the override procedure on inputting the code. I looked for a bit. It has some thing to do with depressing the brake pedal.

For whatever reason, I didn't get a text message with the picture. I sat out there for ten minutes looking for this number and there is only one sticker with a barcode and it had MR513028.

You are looking too far down. That part number is the blower motor assembly. Look a lil higher. At the very top of the glove box hole, on the dash itself.

Well, I searched high and low, even removed the kick panel. Nothing. I'm thinking someone took it off.

Hey, try something for me.

Disconnect both positive and negative battery cables. Touch the termials (disconnect from the battery) together and hold them for 60 seconds.

That will force the ECU in to a hard reset.

Eh. Sounds like the ECU has taken a poop on you. My next suggestion is to have your local dealer and try to put a factory ROM back on your ECU. Sorry

Don't be sorry. It's just my luck. Anytime I work on my own personal car, this kinda crap happens. I live like 5 minutes from a dealership so maybe they won't rape me too bad.

It shouldnt be much. Your AAA will cover the tow bill. The dealership shouldnt charge more than an hour or two to reprogram the ECU. But you have to be specific in telling them what you want and explain why if they seem reluctant.

Yeah. My only concern is where did this go wrong. They will put it back to stock, but then I need to get it flashed for all my mods. I'd hate for this to happen again.

I never did get that picture. I'd be pissed if that sticker was in there somewhere. If someone can post a pic, I'd appreciate it.
