I get the positive numbers like 235 means 23.5psi but -70 means? who knows.... when the car dies I have seen it go down to -28...
That's funny

No separate ignition for AC.

I had this problem since the first day I bought my car. 10 miles on odo with 0 mods and mine would stumble with ac on and coming to a stop with rpms dropping. Idle for me is fine, its just that light cruise when you take the car out of gear and apply the brakes, thats when it stalls.

I have noticed that it does not do it if before you put the clutch in and take it out of gear let it build vaccumme and then take it out of gear.... For instances if you are comming to a light don't just put the cutch in right after your foot comes of the gas... coast up to the light in maybe 3rd or 2nd for a few seconds and then put the clutch in it really helps.

Same exact problems, when the car was stage 1, and continues with the car at stage 5. I see RPM's drop below 500 when I am coasting to stop light, or pulling into my garage and stopping quickly in the front of the garage. The car almost stalls, sometimes the CEL flashes.

I had this same issue with my 2004 EVO 8 also, but that was with the twin disk, so I always figured it was the clutch causing issues.

The trix to downshift before you get to the light instead of just popping out of gear does work....

I notice it happens a majority of the time when going up an incline or hill. Never seen the problem going downhill.

I agree it must be a vacuum issue, because braking is always involved.

I too get the problem ... my only power mods are a TBE (stock cat) / Panel Filter / EBC... also happens when reversing ... if I reverse a little bit then clutch in it goes to a close stall (happens nearly every day when getting into my driveway). My CEL doesnt come on but you can see the car struggling before it bumps the throttle back up.

Ohh and I have a excedy sports organic clutch as well ... however the problem was happening before the clutch replacement.
