Overboost
Clean your boost controller, it should be controlling those spikes without issue. Make sure that the hoses coming from the turbo nipple and the one going to the wastegate do not have any leaks. Set your boost on the highway in 4th or 5th gear. Check for knock.
Make sure your hoses going to your MBC are not excessively long.. this will make your MBC less repsonsive.

You do not want to turn it off. You need to raise it a bit.
If you do not have access to ECUFlash and tactrix cable, turn the boost down a bit, or downshift to 4th, you'll hit less boost.

My car is tuned for the 23 psi. I never have the problem unless I want to pass someone real quick and just punch the gas in 5th gear. My MBC and everything are hooked up properly and working. This is only a problem in 5th gear when im running around 60-70 and floor it. Thats why I want to rais the limit, so if I want to pass someone I dont have to woory about boost cut.
How much boost does it spike too when you punch it in 5th gear? Do those spikes cause knock? Have you tried just turning down your boost 1 psi in 3rd gear to see if it makes a difference in 5th? What is your boost limit set to now? I dont recommend changing boost limit to 319 because that will save your engine if a hose pops off or your mbc experiences some type of failure. If you need to raise it and your tuned for the boost that it will be running in 5th gear then change it by an appropriate amount instead of disabling it with the 319 setting.
