Just hooked up a Forge MBC this weekend and took it out for a test drive. Looks like I'm hitting boost cut at around 1.3 bar ~ 18psi on WOT at around 5.5 - 6k RPMs. Checked the code at Autozone and it gave me the PO234 code: Turbocharger Wastegate System Malfunction / Engine Overboost. Why am I overboosting at 18psi? the MBC is turned all the way down, hooked up to the wastgate and tubine outlet. BCS is bypassed, still plugged in. If I adjust the BOV to a higher pressure would this help? Or should I just wait until I get custom flashed next week to solve this problem? Thanks for any input.

Make sure that the boost solenoid is still plugged in, and disconnect the negative terminal on the battery to reset the ECU. Other than that, I have no clue
Many people fix this problem by going to get a tune.
