Ive heard from a member this could be caused by cold weather...anyone second that? I got my car back from the body shop about 2 weeks ago and it was hitting boost cut like crazy for a couple days throwing the po234 overboost code. Got it checked out, made sure all hoses were tight and it was fine for about a week and a half and tonight out of no where i hit boost cut in 3rd then about 5 min later in 4th. Can anyone help me out? thanks
How much boost are you running? If you have a boost controller you can lower the boost and it will fix it. Other than that cold weather will effect fuel cut because the air is less dense

I dont know, i put sunoco 94 octane in it, but the tank was pretty low tonight but i have filled up $10 worth 3 times this week. Would higher octane have anything to do with this?
If one of the vacuum lines running to the boost solenoid has come off or has a hole in it then you will overboost and probably hit fuel cut.
Do you have a boost gauge to verify the boost? Can you describe what it feels like when it happens? Hitting fuel cut is pretty violent.
Also if you have no mods then isn't your car still under warranty? Let the dealer figure out if something is wrong.
