boost cut problem

took it in to get checked out and their replacing the wastegate because everything else they checked was fine and they believe the old one is slightly bent. hopefully this solves my problem.
doesnt sound like wastegate to me, but never know. It seems like your hitting fuel cut, not boost cut. If it feels like your hitting a wall its fuel. Mine did it in the cold with a mbc but hasnt since I took it off.
My bad, you are correct cold air is more dense. Sorry about that. I put a k@n intake on a car the other dau and that was all I did and now it hits fuel cut. The boost is at 20 lbs and I checked all of the hoses and everything is just like it was. I think the intake screws with the maf counts and causes the computer to boost cut.
Without a tune, the intake will indeed screw a lot up... And I thought cold air was supposed to make the car faster, but if you're hitting fuel cut, doesn't that mean it's making it slower?

*Update
Picking the car up in 15 min. Place told me they took the old waste gate out and the bracket was bent. Replaces it with new wastegate and hopefully it will be fine now.
