Anyone care to take a look at my ROM ?
Ok so i pulled my ROM and i finally got the file small enough with all that i think is important to post. I actually have a couple people helping me at the moment with the ROM im not sure how there fairing but i just wanted to see if people have any suggestions. I know the ROM isnt stock and im pretty sure who tuned it but no names here. I never had a problem with the car before the mods i installed so im thinking it just needs some serious tweaking to a lot of areas. Im just trying to put all of the numbers together still and see how everything relates with ECU flash and how i should start. I didnt touch anything on the ROM so i dont care if its totally an F'd up tune or what ever i just want options on how to get it where it should be. My mods are in sig and i am running to ISC at the moment. If i can do with out it i will if not i plan on buying a Re-Worked FFTEC BBK 75mm throttle body and their ISC adapter as soon as i get the money.

As I mentioned in my e-mail, i haven't had a chance to take a look yet. If you can, post up your accel enrichment map.

I know im in no hurry for free help. I was just trying to see what people think a problem maybe so i can start to see where a problem may occur. I dont know what anything is supposed to look like but from looking at my map it looks like it is out there. Ill get a new pic up. It seems every screen shot i take is huge so i have to go to paint cut out what i need then open it up in imaging and then from there i have to change all the settings and try to get the file size under 100kb unless anyone knows how else to do it. Ill take any suggestions.

Stock Evo 8 turbo srry. I would tell you what i was running for boost but i havent driven the car on the road. I know i when i bought it that it had been flashed and the HKS EVC controller was about 18-19 lbs daily and then i had it spiking 1.7-1.8 bars.

Hey like i said i bought the car with 18k on it, it had bald stock advans and they said they had just put a new clutch in which they butchered. It was advertised as having 10k+ in extras and when i went to see it i saw that it had a HKS RS intake, HKS TBE, HKS Boost Gauge, HKS EVC, there were cams in HKS boxes in the trunk and injectors in a bag also. I was able to get the upc code on the HKS boxes and found that they were both 272's. The injectors is what i havent been able to figure out seeing the stock ones were in a bag and the ones in the car have nothing on them. Trying to compare them they look more like Precision or BR's injectors that they sell. The reason i say 1000's which i am only presuming is because when i had the car at idle with the lope from the cams you could put your hand in front of the exhaust tip and it would get wet and smelling it its gas. So whether or not thats a good way to find out or not thats what i did. I dont really have any resources to use or have around in my area so i pretty much try and figure it out myself.
Timing map is pretty nasty, all that block timing. Yuk. Edit to say the rest of it looks nasty too. I've not done the injector scaling on mine but that looks so wrong for 1000cc injectors. Do you have any logs of it yet?

you are not scaled for 1000 cc injectors... that is the stock scaling and latency values which im assuming is why your fuel table looks so out of whack from what i am use to seeing...... you need to scale the injectors properly to help with the fueling issues and what im guessing is running way to rich to be spitting fuel out the exhaust

I have two problems i run into when im trying to log. I have no problems with the software for mitsulogger or my WBo2 its just that i dont drive the car at all. I havent driven the car in just about 2 years. Its not registered or insured but i would still take it out except that the car just doesnt want to hear it. It will idle but putting it in first or leaving it in nuetral when i go to give it gas it just sputters and bogs. My logworks shows the car going from extremely rich at idle to extremely lean bringing the rpm's up. Im going to go buy a few sets of spark plugs just to be on the safe side. Ive came across a rom that was from a 05 Evo 8 and it seemed to be stock so i changed the Immobilizer code flashed it to the ecu and then trying to start the car it would just turn over and over with out any hint of it starting.
This map is tragic. Here is what I would do if I had this car:
1. Unless you plan to upgrade to a huge turbo or use E85, swap back to smaller injectors, something like 680 cc and get the scaling and latency buttoned down.
2. The timing map is block tuned. 8888888 is the tell tale sign of a Dynoflash tune. The fact that the 1000 cc injectors were not scaled is also a tell tale sign of a Dynoflash tune.
3. The AFR map is horrible. Rather than scale the inejctors properly, the tuner decided to use the fuel map to compensate. It is very lazy to do this. The proper way is to scale the injectors and set the latency first and then adjust the AFR.
I have a question though. Why were the open loop throttle and load tables messed with? I do not get that. Any ideas guys?

And to Clarify again i have no hand in anything that my ROM is showing. I just pulled it and from there i posted it here. I have told a friend here on EvoM that offered to help and like i told him ill buy new injectors so i know what they are but i still want to go with 1000's whether its harder to tune or not this way i have room to grow seeing i want to go with a 35R when my cash flow allows me to pick a kit up.

Its a crazy 8's tune.
Is it to force the car into loop so the AF table takes precedence immediately instead of typical cruise/idle 14.7 target? Which without the scaling or lat done the car would not be able to hit with a 16 wheeler?
Probably...
Do exactly what is mentioned in this post.
Wipe the maps back to stock.
Set the scaling and lat on the inj.
And use the a/f cells to bring your a/f to where you want it.
If you get your scaling/lat right. The map will actually be close to what the car does. Mine was either dead on, or within a half a/f point. But I didn't disable lean spool.
These guys will help you.
But I'd start with a clean slate. F! That crazy sh**!
