Modified maps for download
yep, I can't count how many cars that have come to me from elsewhere with the wrong injector scale, bad fuel/timing maps or a tune that's so conservative that it slower than stock.
There's truly some scary stuff out there, much of the problem is with shops that don't tune these cars daily. They only know enough to be dangerous and some clearly haven't done their homework whatsoever before attempting to tune an EVO.

its not that hard but yeah evo is different as well as the subbies (there more different, special I should say). If you have the basic principles of tuning, like you said along with the proper search of the designated car. You should be ok. I havnt gotten any yet there were really bad from the evo/subbies I tuned in the panhandle.

all of the info about tuning is on the forum already and many have tuned their own cars and done a good job but there's quite a few people that would rather not chance it on their 30k investment over 150 bucks.
yeah, it's not hard for us but some people don't know what they are doing so they think that when they see 14.7:1 at idle/cruise they are done so you end up with a crazy fuel map that's out of adjustment and bad gas mileage.
