Provided the code is there, and it's it's still being called by the main in the non-ICS cars. Otherwise, you'd have to re-enable (or add) the ICS code as well - unless tephra isn't depending on the OEM call(s) to it for executing what he's cooking up.

He'll have to explain depending on how he's going about the coding.

Yeah unfortunatley I dont think the ICS code is in 88590013/4/5 - I think I checked before...

Still that shouldn't matter too much as I have a simplified cut down version of button handler which I used ages and ages ago.

Still need to know if everyone is in favour of wiring in a switch OR finding a stock hardware way of doing it... Need some more suggestions ppl

You need a momentary push button switch to mimic the stock ICS switch. If you end up changing the code so it can be set to be an on/off switch (one that lights up when on) configuartion in the ECU I think that would be cool (and helpful for the alky kit failsafe guys )

I am pretty positive it's all there, unless something is wierd in my maps that I have. I just full tuned a 88590015 last weekend, and I swear I remember all of the ICS still being there, and wondering why Mitsu never took it out. I will have to make sure all of the maps read correctly and what not now.

OK - I just disassembled 88590015 and 94170008 and did a couple of quick/dirty checks based on the (different) addresses referenced in ECUFlash.

I'm not seeing where the map locations are referenced in the 88590015 code so it sure doesn't look like it's there, (unless the defs in ECUFlash are wrong).

Doesn't appear to be in the 88590015 code but I defer to tephra from lurking here long enough to know to take his word for it.

Putting data in a location doesn't mean it's ever referenced - sort of like buying a book, putting it on your shelf, and never reading it.

Oh... and I prefer the stock hardware way of doing it simply because it's a bit more elegant (and I'm lazy).
