Evoscan and AEM Uego

For those of you who use this setup to log air fuel, which com ports are you using? I have been able to log with hyperterminal but not Evoscan. With hyperterminal, com 3 logs. With evoscan I can't seem to get it to start logging when I try com 3. Thanks in advance!!!

Did you go into device manager and see what com port the PC is seeing it at?

I think this might be notebook dependant, but I'm using COM 6.

Most of my comms 1-7 are taken up by other things. I will post the exact message when I get home later.

Just went downstairs to have another look at it. What I noticed was last night I was playing around trying to get my wideband logging and I forgot something, if you want to change com ports on your computer you must reboot for them to take effect. If anyone ever has a question about setting this up, please send me a pm. I will be glad to help!! Thank you all for the help!!!

Yep. Its actually get even more interesting if you use a USB->Serial converter since the port itself on the same machine can then change.

OP: Glad it worked out

I thought I would keep it simple and use the serial cable.
