Running rich between shifts

Hey guys Im having a prob with my car when accelarating hard and when i shift the car stumbles as i get back on the gas and goes rich 10.0 on my logs then clears out and continues to pull like mad till i shift to the next gear and it does the same thing again i have not done a boost leak test although i have replaced my DV because it was leaking at 10psi. I have also replaced the plugs with new oem ones it does this weather im running 28psi or 18. Any ideas ??

I would do that.

Are you running an atmospheric BOV or just a different DV?

What are symptoms of a boost leak, the car boosts to 28 easily not sure how far it tapers though.

I would post up a log and your maps if they're not vendor purchased. The boost leak test is just to eliminate one possible cause.

It's the replacement valve that's causing it. I accidentally broke the nipple off my stock diverter, so I got a turbo xs aftermarket dv to replace it, and mine did the same thing no matter what. It's hard to deal with either way you go, you need a softer spring pressure than most aftermarket one's have to keep compressor surge down, but the tighter spring pressure helps keep your afr's closer to normal. Either go back to a stock type valve or try to have it retuned. I was able to play around with my map enough to get it higher than 10.4:1 like I originally had, but not by much.

dont think its my tune when i do a log in third(without shifting) a pull to redline i have no rich conditions at all pulls clean all the way with good AFRs. It was doing this when i had the stock 9 valve on it thats why i switched cause it was leaking so bad. I thought that was surely it but it was not unfortunatly.

Remember you hit different load cells when shifting....Chris will be able to figure it out.
