I have spoken to COBB and the AP will be along shortly. We will be anxious to find out how that goes.

We also have a non-flash product in development now that we will begin posting results of late next week. Results look to be promising.

However, it will only be a matter of time before LOTS of different options will be available. It will again come mostly down to tuning over the method to get in!

CAN is a different type of interface. There is no way a current Tactrix cable will work with CAN, different electronics are required.

Ha, everything Cobb does is said to come out "shortly" - I don't think I've ever seen that happen though

Last I spoke to Colby a few months ago, he was in need of an Evo X to get the ball rolling. Jason at Mynes did the Evo 8/9 disassem for the Evo 8/9 ECUFlash definitions. Sounds like from an earlier post in this thread that he's working on the X disassem now. From my own experience, it can take a while to get a handle on the table locations and their purpose when there is no prior information about what's what in the ROM. So, could be a while longer before we see ECUFlash for the X. Was hoping that he would at least let us know what processor and language is used for the Evo X ECU/ROM. Would be great if he could even post the ROM.

Spoke to Cobb today. It does not sound as if they are close at all. If I would guess, its 3-6 months out minimum.

If we can at least get a cable and version of Ecuflash to read/write the flash image, I suspect the community would have most of the main tables sorted in a week if it still is an SH2.

I don't even have a X, and my next car will be a GTR, but I'd still be happy to help the effort.

He's working on the cable now. Last I spoke with him a few weeks ago, he said it was around a month (probably longer) before the cable is done.
