I need some serious help
hey guys, this is a shout out to Tephra and JCS. I need to find out if 1 , usdm cars have the stock antilag code in the roms and can have it activated, or 2, can they be added? i am currently deployed and i have recently met some great EVO guys and awesome contacts, who not only have all the hardware but a lot of it. if you guys can help me out post up, b/c i'm trying to incorporate all the things mitsu, lifted off the usdm models. I appreciate any help or opinions on doing this.

hello? i just need to get a little help here, from anybody really that knows how to read the code or that can lead me in the right direction to how to do it myself, thanks.
I think MRfred covered it and the consensus was there wasnt any code. However I think it can probably be added. How much for the Antilag hardware if I have everything else? I have an upper pipe that can be used (Trust UICP) and a Garage HRS header with ports already. Just need the air injection stuff and the bov assembly (?)

With so few posts I don't really know if you realize that you need the hardware that JB is referring to, that came on JDM cars, does anyone sell the kit? I don't think I have seen any at all.
Sleeper, he stated he can get the hardware from where he's currently stationed.
Have you asked yourself this ... Why do they have this hardware lying around? My guess is that it's generally one of the first things to go when they start modding the JDM cars ... I'd try to find the reason behind that before spending the time to assemble a kit.

well here's the thing sleeper, first, i don't post a lot on here b/c i mainly read what info i need to better tune mine and others cars, if i cant figure it out myself, on top of that how many post some one has on this site has nothing to do with how much knowledge they have about anything.
whats up JB, i can get the hardware, actually quite a bit from what my new found friends have told me but i want to get a working USDM rom before i start trying to distribute it out, to the all my interested NW buddies first of course, hint hint. so if you are interested i am looking to pick up the secondary diverter valve, air selinods, air tube, and manifold next time i am in port, once i get a working rom i could mail you the hardware for free if you would be willing to test everything while im gone. just get back to me.
for the other question, i did in fact ask why they get rid of it and this is why. Here in Dubai they get EDM models slightly, in that i mean there is no MR! i know right, anyways they only have the 5speed RS and a 6speed GSR, basically the MR. the RS is only one that comes with the ALS. The reason they take it off is because if you know anything about Dubai, they are retarded rich, i mean really if you saw some of the shops i went to, you would have busted a nut. but they go for the MOTEC800 and either use its built in ALS or go more aggresive.
And Tephra, would go into a little more detail if you don't mind? because i road in a guys RS set up for auto cross and let me tell you, that even the ALS still at stock seting made a big difference in spool and half throttling. and i watched everything on EVOSCAN and the everything was completely normal. so basically any of your help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the antilag system is fully mechanical. Another thing, the so called "antilag" tables on my car make real changes in the tune. Can't seem to identify the destinction between emissions and antilag configuration with these tables.

EGTs and oil temp would have been the two things you really wanted to watch as well as average turbo life with this system on. There is a reason they send it with the "supposed to be for competition only" RS trim level (well at least out side this country).

.Yeah, USDM AL tabels are possibly the egr and lean spool I believe

yeah i hope we can get it all to work too, the egt s and oil temp were about the same as mine in the states and its alot hotter here than in WA. so we'll see how it all goes, next will be the JDM map and dual selinoid set up, maybe.
