Using ECUflash
is there anyway to reflash an ECU that is out of the car?
reason being i want to reset my ECU to stock, but my car is down so to speak!

Where exactly is the ECU in the car? (in detail please)
if i have the ECU in my hand (disconnected from the car), the car does not even have an engine, lol

y would u need to flash it if it doesnt have an engine lol and the ecu is in the glove compartment if u climb under there u see the pins etc. all that has to be hooked up so u can plug into the port on the drivers side with a tactrix cable.
If the wiring harness is intact, you should be able to plug the ecu back in, hook the battery up, and flash from there. To flash the ecu off of the car, you would have to build a dedicated harness to connect to the ecu properly. MAKE SURE the battery is fully charged, and you may even consider putting a trickle charger on it while you are working, just in case. The computer wont know the engine is not in the car, it will only know its not getting readings when you key on.
