Hello
I've got up to the exact same point you're at! My car is a 03 UK FQ-300. Original ROM ID 93660005. RC Developments told me UK FQ's begin life as JDM GSR's then have the HKS kit fitted after SVA......
I too have no NLTS, strange low idle revs and missing launch control, everything else works okay. I do think the ECU seems to learn as slowly idle has risen to about 750rpm.
I can only get my car to start with the immob. disabled, and you seem to start in the 'valet trap' after the first ECU write - but thats resolvable
Have either of you managed to get any further? Or tried 90550001?
I'm seriously considering getting the socket set out and removing EGR (I've done it on a previous FQ300 without issues or CEL with RC Developments advice)
Reference the clutch switch, how about ordering the OEM part and fitting a second switch? Do we think it's possible?
Rear O2, it is a bit more awkward but not unrealistic to put a resistor into the loom to eradicate the CEL. I will happily modify and work on my loom to move this one forward

I think we JDM owners need to club together and make Tephra an offer he can't refuse to patch the 93660005 rom, or perhaps even better the Ralliart rom for the JDM 8.
I will without hesitation buy into that
I don't think it's possible to thank Tephra enough for the effort he's put in for others......
I will gladly log/test anything needed, and as said before I'm comfortable modifying looms and adding sensors if that's an option. I'm beside myself with anticipation

Ok, well let me put up a post on the MLR and we'll see if we can get a few more people interested.
If so, then I think we should be able to get enough together to make it very attractive for Tephra to do it.
Are you on the MLR, by the way, and if so, what's your username?

I have an 04 JDM Evo 8 with ROM ID 93660005.
I've just tried 90550001 on my car. The car starts but seems to have a bit of problem. when I tired to accelerate, the car will stall. I think I might have errorneously copied the old MAF Scaling value over to the new ROM, which reads in Hz now. I think this is screwing up the readings.
I've adjusted the ROM but will try tomorrow as it's too late now.
Any Brother have better luck here?

I tried 0009 and it works fine (have to disable immob through periphery) and everything works except the NLTS because mine doesnt have a 2nd clutch switch.
However Alt maps, valley, etc all work fine without any driving problems.
Some guys are installing a 2nd clutch switch which will obviously work but if u look up under the dash at the clutch I have a gold coloured bolt that the clutch rests up against and I believe thats where the missing switch should go
