Ecuflash with mac

Ecuflash with mac

The new ecuflash with apple. The program loads up fine, it will not recongized that i have the usb cable pluged into it.

am i missing something?

I downloaded mac logger also, i cannot get it to recongized either.

any help will be appreciated.

Did you get the drivers for the cable installed?

I don't know much about this subject, but I know had some trouble getting the right drivers for the cable installed on my PC.

I think i need to install the drivers correctly, I installed one set of the drivers i believe. Im not sure if i need both sets.

You do. From my understanding macs need one set of drivers for flashing and another set for data logging.

Which did you already install? You might want to try collection all your software, uninstalling anything already installed and trying again.

I had driver issues with my PC when I first installed everything and uninstalling and starting with a clean sheet did the trick.

From my experience, the cable didn't work on OS X.

IF you have an Intel-based Mac, go with Boot Camp and boot up natively to XP. Works great for me.
