ok i was having problems getting my stock rom, and my buddy used his laptop and my cable and was able to get it thru ECUFLASH.. now is there anything extra i need to download with ecuflash or anything i need to have setup to properly run ecuflash????

 

no, all you need is ecuflash and tactrix cable. and evo scan for datalogging.

since your friend was able to do it, did you ask him?

 

he wasnt sure cuz it worked fine for him..

he said i have to have some perimeters set up, and make sure that when i put the usb port in my laptop something downloads...

 

parameters setup? All you need is the program and cable, plug in the cable first before you read the rom from ecu. there will be a pop up telling you it's time to turn ignition to on position. do you have the same version of ECU FLASH as your friend? if not, try downloading different one.

 

yeah thats what i do but i get an error.. he did it and it workd fine.. seems like my computer isnt recognizing the cable or somethign!
