yes the numbers were not making any sense, i change because i thought thats what i suppose to do using the patch the thread listed.

Were you trying to eliminate CEL? If it was working before fine why patch. You can always wire o2 to another ACD input and log that.

This is my 3rd time rewiring it.
1st time I did everything right but I didn't connect either brown or yellow analogs so I was just rreading afr from the gauge. Lm programmer didn't work
2nd time I hooked yellow to yellow from lc-1 to gauge then brown to ecu on pin 75 did the o2 delete and edited the mut12 definition on my tephra rom v7
My gauge just kept flashing 7.4 still no pm programmet

So I cut all the wires and I'm going to re-wire it again

I have the 6 wire lc-1
Brown-output 2 is going to my rear o2 pin 75 on my ecu
Red-12v supply
Blue and White get grounded together
Black- calibration wire goes to led, pushbutton then ground the 2
Yellow- going to ground it cuz I wont be using it

Gauge itself
Red- hooked to same 12v as lc-1
Black- ground
Yellow- ground that as well?

What am I missing? I might have hooked up the black calibration wire wrong the 2nd time hence why it would only flash 7.4 and the Cal button didn't do anything

And why can I not launch lm programmer. I've tried the db9 to USB and I've tried the db9 to db15 to hook it to my comp. I'm lost. I've updated evoscan and the lm programmer. Did the driver install for serial to USB I'm running windows 7 64bit
I log afr on evoscan through lc-1 afr evo 8 location ID is 12 and the afr readout is slow and I think inaccurate.

so I have a 9 running SD and tapped into my LC-1's brown wire which is also supplying a signal to my DB gauge. Evoscan has this formula 10.00+(16.99-10.00)*x/255 also the requestID is 3C

I'm seeing around 13.3 in Evoscan reading through the ECU while using the USB to Serial adapter and the gauge shows around 14.7. Is there another formula being used for LC-1 or is there another requestID?

I would love to use this method instead of using the usb to serial adapter.

I have read through this but I haven't really seen anything concrete as far as a new formula. I have seen a mention of using requestID 12 but others have 3C without issues

Try this formula instead=> =(0.05898*x)+7.35

i tried this formula and it brought me closer. it now reads .3-.4 richer than logging thru the serial to usb adapter. i tried adjusting the formula but it was worse. any ideas?

Not sure if this is has been done yet or not but, I am removing my rear o2 sensor from the car altogether and will just put the wide-band in its place. Instead of going to the ecu pin 75 i plan to just tap into the single wire from the harness where the oem sensor would plug into. Has anyone else done it this way?

I found it more convenient to tap into the wire inside the car. Either way works, no need to put another pin into the ECU.

my next question for in the MUT tables is it safe to assume that table 12 is in (row 1x, column 2) in that cell where they meet up?

I would like to know the solution to this as well. I have the same issue on two cars that have gotten widebands. If on a Haltech or AEM we dont have any issues, but stock ecu logging seems poor.

The LC-1 has an adjustable AFR output range for the 0-5 V wideband analog signal. Make sure that you are using a formula that matches the output range you have specified using the Innovate software for programming the LC-1. If you are certain that the correct formula is being used, and the value logged through the ECU is still off by more than 0.2 AFR from your innovate gauge, then there is a substantial voltage offset somewhere in the 0-5 V wideband circuit. The usual issue is placing the ground for the 0-5 V circuit too close to the ground for the LC-1 power. It needs to be in a separate location, preferably as close as possible to a ground location used for the ECU sensors. It takes a bit of attention-to-detail to make this work right, but it is all covered in the first post of this thread.

Hey

I have ID 88580714 Tephra v.7 and want to log WB LC2 from MUT12. I have to change it also to 8409(changed that and just numbers does not add up) or someone need to check into to my ROM and check the right address?

EDIT: All works fine number 8409 is ok just needed to setup analog out nr.2

Bumping and old thread i know. Anyone have the formula for the new AEM Xseries Wideband, its voltage range is .5v = 8.5AFR and 4.5v = 18.0AFR

Also shows
AFR=(2.3750 * Volts) + 7.3125
in the install instructions
