hello i searched and could not find a definite answer to this very simple question.

does resetting your ecu (removing it from the car for a couple days) delete your flash?

i.e if your car is fine tuned and you remove your battery and now your ecu is reset, does this mean your car is no longer tuned? and running on the stock map?
