does my ECU reset

My car has been garaged for one year. It has not been started in that year. I want to know if my last tune will be on the ECU when the car is eventually restarted?

You don't loose your tune unless it is physically erased off of your ECU or "reflashed". Time will not erase it and neither will losing power to it.

Your long term fuel trims will have been reset, but that's always a good thing.

Thanks for the info.

I guess its okay if those fuel trims reset. Bonus.

What do I need to do in order for the car to run smoothly once the engine is restarted? Do I drive it around for a few miles, or let it sit and idle?

empty the gas and refill it with fresh fuel before you even attempt to do anything

when I finally get to it, I think I will pull the drain plug. The used fuel is going to power my lawn mower!
