Looking for more maps, 80700010 Def
As usual, do some testing before you go nuts with the setup. I am not sure about the warmup ignition retard map. On this ROM it may be related to the ALS system, but judging by the small retard numbers in the map it may be as it is for other vehicles. To test it do some cold ignition timing logging and just zero the map to see if it has changed. The map is normally used for cold start cat convertor warmup assist, running retarded in the cruising areas to help dump heat into the exhaust. On my vehicle this map disabled at 80C engine temps.
This ROM is actually quite bare. There is nowhere near the number of maps that the GT-A has. Almost all of the ROMS I see have EGR based trim maps but I could not see them anywhere in this ROM. Maybe I just need to look harder :-)

Nice work, thats a new table i've not seen before
I used to have the wastegate and boost 2 & 3 but removed them from the xml when tephra patched it the first time.
Forgot to put them back in when I attached the xml sorry.

Mattjin,
No bad matey! Sure I do understand mandarin hehe Bubble tea is nice I like it too.
Thanks for your info, at least now I know how to maximise my tuning for my ride. I will insert the new maps.
Cheers!

Wow, that's amazing... I really dont know how to test all this feature and the exact function of those. Perhaps tephra could comment something about it since he's the god that create 90550001
hehe, wode piao liang laopo hen hao laoshi ;-) Ta shi zhong guo ren. Wo shi laowai (or is it "gui lo")! Just don't ask me to write in script!! haha
Enjoy the maps. It takes way too much time to find much more with them. I am only new to disassembly and digging much deeper is beyond me at this point without having a car to test things on.

They are as they are described. Lean spool attack and decay times, target enrich/enlean, and activation load. Playing with it is best left to the pro's, but you would generally need to have alot of mods to even need to bother playing with it.
The warmup maps are easy to play with. Just do some logging while cruising when the motor is cold. See if it looks more retarded in the timing compared to hot. If so, try making the entire Warmup map as Zero, flash it in, then repeat the logging next time it is cold. For simple testing like this I use a Blitz R-VIT to monitor what is happening. If the map does what I think then you should notice the timing stays the same cold as when it is hot.
The boost maps are also easy. Edit one down to zero and see the effect. Then return to normal and do the next map. Then you can learn the exact effect of each map.

Mattjin,
You know for GTA and ATK theres a gear display on the dash. For my ATK its only display the gear numbers 12345 during manual mode tiptronic. The JDM ATK can display in Auto and manual mode. I am trying to activate this definite its not hot wire the gear box cos when I swap my ecu with a JDM version it works.
Anyway, you can locate the address for this function? Its a nice function to have driving during auto mode to view the gear change in the digital display.
Thanks

WOW some really good stuff there thanks soo much.
If you come across anything else in any evo 7 (manual) roms, please post them up, as the address's all match every 7 rom I have, it's just a case of editing the rpm and load to match.

Finding the gear indicator would be near impossible at the moment. I cant even find an ECU pinout for the GT-A, even with a trusted local Mitsu dealer trying to track me one down in Japan through the manufacturer. Mine displays gear position all of the time whether in D or in Tip. Is there a wiring difference between your local car and the JDM car? Maybe a single wire output that is not there?
I have been trying desperately to find alot of the auto trans code. I want that torque converter lockup map because of the continual engaging and disengaging at freeway speeds. It was probably setup in downtown Tokyo traffic and they didnt do much highspeed cruising to dial it in.
But if you guys can see a map that is in an existing evo rom, I should be able to find that pretty quickly and give it the correct scale addresses, it only take a few minutes.

The ALS stuff will be difficult but I will see what I can find before I head to the shop this morning. Because it is not usable or needed on an automatic I cant test it either. You have to understand that pulling aport the rom doesnt give me a list of "this does that". It's alot more involved that just doing that, with just a listing of addresses, not alist of what they do.
Sub7, you asked to see the current 80700010 def. I prefer for now to keep it to myself. There are now a total of 246 maps for that def and it needs ALOT of testing and verification before making it public. Besides, I am a professional tuner and I need to keep a few aces up my sleeve, and re-coup in a small way the huge amount of spare time that goes into this stuff. My wife already gives me evil looks when I retreat to the lounge with my laptop and end up sitting there for hours and ignoring her :-) But anything major I usually post it up here.
BTW, there are no more 3D tables worth talking about in the roms I looked at over the past few days. The only ones left are small and just have static numbers, meaning they dont do anything. 90550001 was a weird one only having 2 each of main fuel and ignition maps. Most have more.

No problem, I couldn't understand it myself, when I attempted to dissasemble the rom.
I was lost in about 30 seconds.
Just 1 thing.
With the Lean Spool AFR table that you posted earlier.
4000 RPM seems a little high for it to start the lean spool process.
I am not a tuner just a newbie with all this still, but to me it seems late to be running 14.7 AFR when on boost ???

90550001 also has all of the ALS addresses already in the def. I had a quick look and it points to all of the listed maps and no other points. It is even correctly scaled too for the air inject time.
