Idle troubles

Right now the car has 1000cc injectors and BC 272's. I've messed with some of the idle tables in ecu flash but they haven't really fixed anything.

It's not that the idle is too low but my car wants to idle high. like 900-1200 high. with the new cams the car wants to "lobe" sometimes but it comes right back up.

Is there anyway i can drop the idle down to about 800 with out messing with the set screw on the TB?

Did you just install the injectors with the cams? If so, you will need to rescale the injectors. Also, if it idles between 900-1200, check for vacuum leaks.

The injectors have already been rescaled to 914cc's. Also there are no vacuum leaks

Did you install the cams prior or at the same time?? Try playing with timing in that area and dont forget sometimes the car will drop rpm at idle and hit a higher load to get the rpms back up thus mabye coming out of your idle timing settings..

914 seems a bit high. Which 1000cc injectors? What are your fuel trims telling you?

Ouch, that stings. Maybe you can give him some free advice on how to fix his idle though, seeing as how 2 wrongs don't make a right...

In the desired Idle table, set all values to 400. Then in your timing table, set the upper left area of the map values to 20.

This should teach you a lesson for scamming a good member of this forum. Karma is a ***** and you ****ed with the wrong guy...
