ecuflash dies again

i have had this problem once before and really cannot remember how to cure it.

now, whatever version i install, its all messed up, however now, i have version 1.34 installed, i can open some roms, but the ones that do open, have weird values accross the axis's

for example

my load line looks like this

2560|5120|7680|10...|12...|

my rpm axis looks like this

128
4
128
8
128
12
128
16

no matter which version i install, and i have tried removing everything, all the drivers and traces, it now just either opens with a mess such as above, or totally crashes dependin which rom i open.

any help is appreciated

thanks

The scale thing does look like a th little/big edian thing. I have found that ECUflash "remembers" where you put old xml files and still uses them, I zip my old ones and that cures it, but you might have to do a clean install. Which ROMs are giving the bother?

so when did the chang happen?

how can i work this out?

start again with which version? And is ther a download of all of the xmls i can find?

i do have a working version on 1 pc of 1.32 (i think) so whichever rom files on tihs pc must work fine, which version of the xmls will this be?

i stil think the pc has a problem, but if i follow someones instructions and still get the error then we can go from there

well, if i take my xmls from my pc thats working with 1.34 and then totally uninstall everything on this pc, then i reinstall 1.34 on this pc, copy the xmls over to this pc, then run, i get the same problem, nothing changes.

also, when i open 1 particular rom, the program just closes

so any help possible?

The quickest way to edit an xml file is using replace in notepad

open xml in notepad
edit>replace>find [little] replace [big] (don't enter [])>replace all

One the scalings via the edit map function and check the edians in use, you can set all to big.
