Why to log the Battery Voltage on EvoScan?

Why to log the Battery Voltage on EvoScan? I guess it has to be something related to the injectors or fuel pump? Anyone know? What about the O2 sensor? Whats the use of logging O2 if you have a wideband.

Battery Voltage is used for Calculated Load if you aren't using the 2 Byte Mod.

I log both LoadCalc and 2 Byte Load without logging battery voltage.

I only log the battery when I am doing injector scaling/latency. I log 2byte load so I do not need to log battery for loadcalc

FYI the "battery" voltage decreases at WOT.

Maybe you are using a different function for LoadCalc. This is what I am using....

5*[InjectorScaling]*((0.256*x)-(-0.1026*[Battery]+1.8741))/(14.7*128/[AFRMAP])

Opps. You are right. I do log Battery Level for the LoadCalc. I did not realized it because I never look at it. Anyway I was just curious why Mellon ask lo log Battery Level. It has to be because of the Load Calc.

Thanks!!

correct If you only check loadcalc and try to start logging it'll tell you to check a few other things so the formula will work. If you've done the 2byteload mod then you can just log that. It's a little more accurate anyway.
